- My name is Eddington Pindura. I'm from England in the United Kingdom, and I've been involved in business for over10 years now, in particular in internet marketing for a couple of years.
Originally, I became involved in business because I loved the idea of flexibility. I was excited by the comfort of working from home. I wanted to supplant my primary income. I desperately needed to do something as I couldn't cope with my day job because of health issues and childare. I had always desired to be my own boss and thought I would take that opportunity and give it a go. I was interested in entrepreneurship. My first business was a childcare agency, providing nanny introductions and baby sitting srevices.
After getting established in my business, some things went well. On the other, hand, some of the things did not exactly go as I had hoped. Despite the things I liked about it,I still experienced some frustrations because I have not had enough experience. My advisers would give me advice, but it just wasn't the right kind of advice, I discovered then that your vision is your vision, and no one can exactly see what you see and articulate your dream.
Instead of giving me the help and support I needed, my well-meaning friends and relatives where not business minded people, and all the advise they could offer was, perhaps I should give it up, the business wasn't for me etc etc, ever happened to you?
As I am a Christian, my Christian friends would say, maybe that's not what God wants you to be doing - my! Now this one is really serious, because one can easily buy into it as it would make you kind of feel guilty and think you are letting God down, especially when the times get real tuff as they sometimes do in the real world of business.
You will hear all sorts of voices in your heard, but I tell you what, I beleive whatever it is that you want to be, do, or have, all it takes to acomplish it is faith backed by action and effort. Of course you need God's hand in it but to be told God doesn't want you doing it, I still struggle with that one.
In spite of my difficulties, I still tried my best to achieve the success that I had hoped for. I worked hard to not give up as the saying goes. I tried many of the traditional tactics, with less than ideal results. I was new to the internet those days, when portals like Facebook and Ecademy and few others had just emerged, but these where the two I signed up with and didn't even know what I was doing then. However, I got involved and visited networking events and did eveything I had been advised to do, and worked my hardest at it, but the end result was less than I expected.
In the end decided maybe people were right, I needed to try a different approach. I was frustrated with the results of my previous efforts, I started a new search for other opportunities on the internet.
I then came across a matching website which promised to find me a suitable business opportunity I could start with as little as £50, and I thought why not, little did know at the time that I was becoming someone else's lead.
Guess what this lead me to? Yes, you are probably right, the famous network marketing! I had heard about network marketing before and even got involved with one of the biggest network marketing company, Herbalife, as a dsitributor, so I had an idea and to be honest, I liked the concept and still like it, isn't it a shame most people do not understand it...
