Your Professional/Academic Profile
Recently I was invited as a guest speaker at the 1st 10/10 Summit organised by Samuel Jonathan, CEO of the London Youth Corporation, held at the Marriott Hotel in London's Park Lane. I received an award at this prestigious event for which I am grateful and touched.

I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner, life coach, counsellor and the world’s ONLY black practitioner of the revolutionary Lightning ProcessTM. My style has been described as direct yet compassionate, empathetic and sincere. I firmly believe that we can change; bad habits, unwanted behaviours and improve our confidence/self-esteem.

In 1996 I was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus, a chronic condition, which affects the skin (there is no known cure), this was four years after I noticed a small light patch underneath my left eye where the pigmentation had faded considerably. Small coin shaped patches then began to appear all over my face. In seeking a diagnosis and treatment I was introduced to alternative health, medicine and practice. I felt that in order to address the Discoid Lupus I had to delve into my emotional health as well as physical, this led me to train in the areas mentioned above.

I now work helping clients to make changes in their lives. I have my own practice in North London where I see private clients helping with conditions from smoking to improving self-esteem (something which I am passionate about). I also work in the respected Haelan Clinic in North London. I have made appearances on BEN TV, spoken extensively about The Lightning ProcessTM and EFT on SLR and Genesis radio and will continue to promote these effective therapeutic tools within the community.

DO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS SUFFER FROM CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS), MYALGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS (ME) AND FIBROMYALGIA?

Posted on March 1, 2009 at 18:21 0 Comments

A recent article in The Sunday Mail’s You Magazine reported on the remarkable recovery of nurse Jane Flowers from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). Ms Flowers, 50 had “not been able to go downstairs for the past year. Crossing the landing to the bathroom left her on the point of collapse and taking a shower was out of the question.”(1) She had suffered with ME since January 2006 and her recovery was nothing short of a miracle.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or ME is not an easy to… Continue

What an honour to be invited as a guest speaker at the 1st 10/10 Summit, organised by Samuel Jonathan, the Chief Executive of the London Youth Corporation. On Saturday 31st January, at the Park Lane Marriott Hotel, around 150 young people gathered for this inspirational and motivational event.

I had spoken with Samuel earlier in the week to discuss which of the three core subjects: Character, Commitment and Discipline, I would like to present. I chose Commitment because I wanted to… Continue

Hi Sharon,
All is well. We have been away in Dubai and just got back the wee hours of yesterday morning. So today is my first opportunity to get working on this. I equally owe you an apology. In our village, the Post Office closes early and it makes it difficult to mail things after hours (especially if they have to be weighed). I will send what I promised ... this week. Take care and see you on the 9th.

Hey Sharon,
Would you know of any Attorney that can help with setting up a charitable organisation on a pro-bono basis? We're trying to register London Youth Corporation with the Charities Commission. I believe it will help with our fund-raising & sponsorship efforts. Don't forget ... start with the end in mind.

Sharon , you are so kind. I just told Paulette that I find immeasurable joy appreciating others. I would never be able to thank you enough for taking your time to come and inspire others. Moreover, you did so without placing any demands. You are a gift to mankind.
God bless you.
