And the greatest of them all is... PEACE!

In the West the month of December witnesses the biggest celebration of the year – Christmas. This is a period when the birth of Christ is remembered, a time when people reflect - a peaceful time.2011 was a challenging year across the world as we battled with fallouts from the failings of the banking system, terrorism, wars, rising oil prices and subsequent higher cost of living. How then can we be at peace in this mire of trouble, uncertainty and hardships? Consciously or not, everyone desires,…See More

What makes a good leader?

Leadership is about working with people, accepting responsibility, understanding people, motivating, developing and encouraging. It is also about knowing when to stand back and allow others to take the lead, for a good leader is also a follower. A good leader is not threatened by the growth and development of his staff; indeed he is encouraged by it. She enjoys empowering people and watching them grow; and she knows when and what to delegate. It is said that entrepreneurs are born with deep,…See More

Starting your Business? Consider These First

Starting your own business is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. The key word as you embark on this journey is PREPARATION. Have a look at the following list as you prepare to take this very important step:1. Prepare your mind - Think about why you want to start your own business. Do you have the discipline, the drive and commitment necessary? Do you have the right skills (both hard and soft); do you have access to tangible and intangible support? Do you believe you…See More
