I just picked up the following article and thought you might find it interesting.

Perhaps his recent book, “In My Father’s House,” John Dortch explains why he eventually would become a business owner. Perhaps, his attending and graduation from a historically black college or university (HBCU), Tennessee State University, inspired him to work for himself. Perhaps, he just wanted to make a difference in his community. Whatever the reason or reasons, Dortch, owner of Unique Touch Salon at 3614 East Paulding Road, knew from the beginning, the “white man’s ice water” is not always colder.
